In New Jersey, there are now 6 health insurance carriers in the individual healthcare marketplace. The six carriers are:
- Horizon BCBS
- Amerihealth
- Oscar/Qualcare
- Wellcare/AMBetter
- Aetna Whole Health
- United Healthcare
On-Market Health Plans:
GetCoveredNJ is New Jersey's marketplace for Obamacare. If eligible, GCNJ can help reduce your health insurance premiums and provide a
cost-sharing reduction plan enhancement. Eligibility is based on your age, household income & household size. I can help you determine if you are eligible for assistance.
Off-Market Health Plans:
Off-market health plans are similar to GetCoveredNJ health plans, however, there is no premium assistance available. Enrollees pay 100% of the
premium. You would enroll directly with the carrier with the help of a broker like Chris Kudryk from KBenefits.
